# Internet Waveform Atlas (v1.6) ## The Core Insight **The internet is not a pile of pages. It is a responsive field.** If it responds, it has a waveform. If it has a waveform, it can be projected. If it can be projected, it can be mapped. **The clean law:** A web object does not need to be consumed to be mapped. Receipt generation for waveforms ### Waveform Probing **Lightweight Probe Characteristics:** - HEAD request first (no body) - Conditional GET (if modified since) - Range requests (partial content) - Header-only extraction -
