## Completed

- Removed generated runtime junk from the checkout surface:
  - `__pycache__/`
  - `*.pyc`
  - `*.pyo`
  - `*.tmp`
  - `*.bak`
  - `*.pid`
  - `.DS_Store`
- Normalized trailing whitespace / CRLF issues in the files reported by `git diff --check`.
- Quarantined local-only heavy artifacts outside the repo at:
  `/home/allaun/Documents/DeleteMe/research-stack-worktree-quarantine-20260429-051848`
- Added `.gitignore` coverage for local-only generated artifacts, refill archives, ISO images, pid files, and the local `scripts/venv_unsloth/` virtualenv.
- Removed stale Git object garbage from `.git/objects/pack`.

## Remaining Decision Gates

- The branch is still intentionally dirty and needs a semantic review pass before commit:
  - 195 modified tracked files.
  - 14 deleted tracked files.
  - 151 untracked source/data/doc files.
- Do not bulk-restore or bulk-delete those remaining files without deciding whether each group is source, generated output, archived evidence, or obsolete surface.
