Worktree Polish - 2026-04-29

Completed

  • Removed generated runtime junk from the checkout surface:
    • __pycache__/
    • *.pyc
    • *.pyo
    • *.tmp
    • *.bak
    • *.pid
    • .DS_Store
  • Normalized trailing whitespace / CRLF issues in the files reported by git diff --check.
  • Quarantined local-only heavy artifacts outside the repo at: /home/allaun/Documents/DeleteMe/research-stack-worktree-quarantine-20260429-051848
  • Added .gitignore coverage for local-only generated artifacts, refill archives, ISO images, pid files, and the local scripts/venv_unsloth/ virtualenv.
  • Removed stale Git object garbage from .git/objects/pack.

  • The branch is still intentionally dirty and needs a semantic review pass before commit:
    • 195 modified tracked files.
    • 14 deleted tracked files.
    • 151 untracked source/data/doc files.
  • Do not bulk-restore or bulk-delete those remaining files without deciding whether each group is source, generated output, archived evidence, or obsolete surface.
